All Hail the Bacon Car! Granby's Got Talent, Grange Tag & Craft Sale
Here are five things going on in the area.
Good morning, Granbys! Today is Sunday, Jan. 28, 2012; there are 338 days left in the year.
I’ve seen some pretty cool things in my five months of covering Granby and East Granby. Gobtimus Prime. A dog named Bone Jovi. A car that was redecorated to the theme of the movie “Avatar.” Here’s one more addition to the list: a Pinewood Derby entry that was decorated to resemble a piece of bacon. The Bacon Car - henceforth known as the coolest thing ever - was the brainchild of 10-year-old Ben Stepien, who was inspired because, in his words, “I like bacon.” (Check out the car in the photo gallery)
And a child shall lead us.
All hail the Pinewood Derby bacon car!
